Broadband Media Association (BMA)

Broadband Media AssociationThe BMA brings together players in the broadband media industry - technology, service, content and media providers - to build a business network, and forge alliances.

As an industry driven initiative, BMA promotes the interests of the broadband media industry for the local and the regional markets. To date, 35 key industry players (and growing!) from Singapore and the region have joined the association. SpeedCast is a patron member of the BMA.

Asia-Pacific Satellite Communications Council (APSCC)

APSCCAPSCC is a non-profit international association representing all sectors of satellite and space-related industries, including private and public companies, government ministries and agencies, academic and research entities. APSCC’s objective is to promote satellite communications and broadcasting, and space related activities in the Asia-Pacific and to form meetings of its members to encourage the exchange of views and cooperation on satellite-related policies, technologies, systems, and services in the region. Members include satellite manufacturers, launch service providers, satellite service providers and satellite risk management companies, telecom carriers, and broadcasters from Asia, Europe and North America. SpeedCast Limited is a member of APSCC.

The Mobile Entertainment Forum (MEF)

MEFMEF is a leading global trade association for companies large and small across the mobile entertainment value chain. MEF's membership base covers the entire range of mobile entertainment activities, including music, film, TV and video companies who create and package content; publishers, retailers, service providers and technologists who sell and deliver content and network operators who get the content to the end users. SpeedCast Limited is a member of the Mobile Entertainment Forum (MEF).

The Hong Kong IP Multicast Initiative (HKIPMI)

The HKIPMI is initiated by the Department of Information Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong and industry develop and promote the emerging IP multicast technology. HKIPMI initiatives include such activities as seminars, workshops, web portal, and the development of necessary software tools that help network operators manage their network infrastructure. http://www.hkipmulticast.org. SpeedCast is one of the members of this consortium.
