CSL First in Hong Kong to Launch Top Indonesian Language Channel 'MNC-the Indonesian channel' in Cooperation with SpeedCast

CSL, Hong Kong's leading mobile operator, announces the introduction of the top Indonesian language channel "MNC-the Indonesian channel" to pre-paid SIM card users on their mobile phones. Supplied by SpeedCast in mobile format, this live channel provides all kinds of news and entertainment programs, such as Indonesian sitcoms, soap opera/ drama, variety shows, music programs, documentaries, reality shows, and much more, for Indonesian and Malay communities worldwide.

The latest statistics show that Hong Kong's population has hit 7 million with 9.9 million mobile phone subscribers. With around 130,000 Indonesians, Hong Kong represents a huge opportunity for the Indonesian channels, and CSL's Mobile TV platform offers an effective medium to reach that audience.
