CSL First in Hong Kong to Launch 'ABS-CBN The Filipino Channel' in Cooperation with SpeedCast

Hong Kong, 17 November 2009 - CSL Limited, Hong Kong's leading mobile operator, today announced the introduction of "ABS-CBN The Filipino Channel" to pre-paid SIM card users on their mobile phones. Supplied by SpeedCast in mobile format, this live channel provides all kinds of news and entertainment programs, such as, variety shows, music programs, documentaries, reality shows, and much more. It helps the Filipinos keep in touch with their families and friends back home.
After the successful launch of "MNC the Indonesian channel" for the Indonesian and Malay communities in August, CSL extends this service to Filipino population. With approximately 140,000 Filipinos, they represent the largest foreign community after the Chinese in Hong Kong; CSL has understood that its success will not only come from the locals but from its ability to cater to all communities needs. Consequently CSL's range of services will continue to grow in the coming year thanks to its continued focus on these communities.
