SPEEDCAST AND ORBIT PARTNER TO PROVIDE GLOBAL MARINE COMMUNICATION SERVICES

Hong Kong, June 29, 2010 - SpeedCast Ltd, a leading satellite telecommunications service provider, and Orbit Technologies, a leader in satellite communications products, today announced that they have partnered to deliver uninterrupted global marine communications services across all major maritime routes.
After conducting exhaustive tests of global marine antennas, SpeedCast selected Orbit Technologies' OrSat-G (AL-7103) marine antenna to optimize its continuous Ku-band coverage. SpeedCast worked together with Orbit to help integrate Orbit's OrSat-G antenna into its global Ku-band Network and has now incorporated it into SpeedCast's product portfolio as one of its global marine antennas OrSat-G is Orbit's most advanced 1.15 meter Ku-band Offset Gregorian antenna system, boasting automatic beam switching between satellites.
SpeedCast pioneered the delivery of a seamless auto-beam-switching broadband communications service using multiple satellites operating in the Ku-band for maritime customers. Over the past several years, SpeedCast has developed a vast infrastructure for providing this seamless connectivity for maritime data, video and voice communications services. As part of the partnership, SpeedCast has already purchased a large number of OrSat-G systems, thus combining a superior antenna with its own superior satellite telecommunications service network, to offer uninterrupted Ku-band satellite coverage along major maritime routes and offshore regions.
SpeedCast has also selected the OrSat-G for use in their "turn-key" maritime communications solutions. These complete packages provide a single bundled solution for maritime customers, with all of the equipment required to deliver uninterrupted communications services to their vessels.
OrSat was selected by SpeedCast for its robustness, dynamics and RF characteristics, and for its performance-to-size ratios and mechanical design ingenuity. The system offers the added value of Eutelsat, Intelsat and Anatel approvals, unique among antennas of its size. SpeedCast's selection of Orbit's OrSat-G antenna as one of its main global marine antennas is testimony to Orbit's product success in this competitive market.
