Satellite Broadband is an alternative to dial-up and DSL (digital subscriber line) to deliver continuous Internet connectivity via satellite. We provide quality and speeds similar to other broadband technologies. Due to geographical constraints, not everyone can access the Internet via DSL or cable, especially in rural areas. As a wireless technology, Satellite Broadband delivers high quality irrespective of distance.
For both business and economic growth, the requirements for high speed internet connectivity are advancing rapidly and, increasingly, these requirements are being satisfied using satellite broadband.
The connection is between the satellite and the dish (remote antenna) installed at the customer premises. Satellite broadband can achieve download speeds of up to 2 megabits per second (Mbps) and upload speed up to 1 Mbps. We offer a flexible selection of bandwidth packages to meet with our customers' connectivity requirements. Speedcast's communications circuits supports voice, video and private data communications.
We at SpeedCast strive to meet with your requirements. We cater to the needs of large and small companies, government organizations, telcos and Internet service providers. For government related projects, we have good experience in the delivery of rural telephony, social development, agricultural and telemedicine solutions. We also specialize in providing services to the maritime, oil & gas, military, emergency response and hotel chains.
We take pride in delivering world class services:
Satellite Broadband service can be one-way or two-way. One-way satellite broadband means that data is downloaded via satellite and uploaded via a telephone line. Two-way connections both download and upload data using satellite. Broadband satellite connections require a satellite dish as well as a transceiver.
