Security

Private data and satellite broadband links used to provide remote offices with IPVPN access will be subject to the network security rules of the corporation. For the satellite link itself, this acts as a clear channel and should support any such security elements such as firewalls, sniffers, analytical, monitoring or cryptographic tools.

We are also able to encrypt the satellite traffic, both on the uplink and on the downlink, using the following standards:

  • IPSEC
  • SSL
  • DES
  • 3DES
  • AES

Proprietary keys may also be integrated (e.g. for ATM transactions).
