Dial-up Networking Configuration for VPN on Windows98

1. Now go to My Computer, Dial-up Networking and then click Make New Connection, then follow the settings on the figure below.
   
2. After clicking the Finish button, you will be able to see this dial-up icon for VPN.
   
   
   
3. Right click this Dial-up Icon for PPTP and change the properties.
4. Add an IP address of VPN Server, which is pptp.speedcast.com on the Host name or IP Address and select the Microsoft VPN Adapter on the Connect using selection.
5. Then select the Server Types tab.
   
   
   
6. Make sure that the only check mark it has are Enable software compression and TCP/IP only.
7. Next, click the TCP/IP button and select Server Assigned IP address.
8. Then click OK to continue and until it finish.
