
SpeedCast Software Installation
- Speedcast Client Setup can be found on the SpeedCast CD Installer and can also download to SpeedCast FTP site [ftp://ftp.speedcast.com/client_setup/v2.d/ClientSetup_v2.d.zip]
- Install the SpeedCast Client Setup on your PC with DVB card and it will create the following folders.
C:\publickey\public.puk
C:\Program Files\SPEEDCAST
- After the Installation, you will able to see 3 applications for SpeedCast services.¡P

Speedcast Announcement
It acts as a receiver for any announcement from MFT (Multicast File Transfer) server.
SpeedCast Explorer
It posts all the events that it received from SpeedCast Announcement.
Speedcast Satellite Internet
It is a dialer for PPP + PPTP only. It is not applicable for LAN + PPTP

How does "SpeedCast Satellite Internet" Works?
- Click the "Speedcast Satellite Internet"
- You will notice that there will be a small red icon on the bottom right of your screen.

- Right click this red icon and choose "properties" then add the necessary information.

- Then click "Save" to save the new settings.
- Double click the red icon again and marked check on the "Automatic Reconnect"
- Then click "Connect" to start the dialing to the ISP and next is to the PPTP server.
- As soon as you connected on both dial-up, the red icon will become Green and it means you're connected properly. Then you are now ready to surf to the Internet via satellite.

SpeedCast File Delivery
How does "Speedcast Announcement" and "Speedcast Explorer " Works?
End Users:
- During the "Speedcast Client Setup" installation, The "Speedcast Announcement" automatically added to start-up program of your computer.
- So each time you re-start your PC, you will be able to see an icon on the bottom right of your screen.

- This "Speedcast Announcement" serves as a listener for incoming data from the Client Subscriber System (CSS) server.
- The "Speedcast Explorer " gathers all incoming information from the "Speedcast Announcement" and records each data it gets.
