Dominic Gyngell

  • Dominic joined Speedcast in 2016 as General Counsel. He has been leading the Company’s global legal, governance, compliance and regulatory functions.
  • Prior to Speedcast, Dominic was with BT for 13 years, most recently serving as their General Counsel for Asia, Middle East and Africa. Dominic originally joined BT in London where he was the head of BT’s Major Transactions team, focusing on large scale, complex commercial and corporate transactions around the globe.
  • Dominic received his BA/LLB (Honours) degree from the Australian National University and completed his legal training at Minter Ellison in Sydney.

Peter Myers

  • Peter joined Speedcast as Chief Financial Officer in November 2019.
  • He is responsible for the group’s finance activities, contributing to ongoing growth, improving Finance systems and processes, maximizing cash flow and profitability, and developing a market-leading finance team.
  • Peter brings a wealth of substantial operational finance experience from a range of companies and industries, including two multi-billion-dollar ASX-listed businesses.
  • He has over 25 years of experience in finance and had led substantial turnarounds, successful refinancing and capital management initiatives, and oversaw key transformation and integration projects.
  • Prior to Speedcast, Peter was Chief Financial Officer for Billabong Group Limited, APN News & Media Limited and Ten Network Holdings Limited.
  • Peter is a Member of CPA Australia.

Stephe Wilks

  • Stephe was appointed to the Speedcast Board in August 2019 as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair.
  • He has over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry both within Australia and overseas having worked for a range of telecommunication companies including Optus, British Telecom and Hong Kong Telecom.
  • Previously, Stephe held the role of Chairman of Service Stream Limited, guiding it through a period of substantial operational turnaround.
  • Stephe is currently a Non-Executive Director of Australia’s largest private IT services company, Interactive, and a Non-Executive Director of BluGlass Limited.
  • Stephe holds degrees in both Science and Law from Macquarie University and Masters of Law from the University of Sydney.

Peter Myers

Peter Jackson

  • Peter was a Non-Executive Director of Speedcast from 2012 to July 2018 and became an Independent Non-Executive Director in August 2018.
  • Peter has more than 40 years of experience in the satellite and telecommunications sectors.
  • He served as the CEO at AsiaSat from 1993 to 2010 and as its Executive Chairman from 2010 to 2011. Peter was a Non-Executive Director of AsiaSat until 2018.
  • Prior to joining AsiaSat, Peter spent 20 years with Cable and Wireless.
  • He served as a Director and Chairman at Daum, a South Korean Internet provider.

Grant Ferguson

  • Grant was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Speedcast in 2012. Grant is also Chair of the Audit, Business Risk and Compliance Committee. He has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including as CEO of Astro Overseas Ltd, and as CFO of Astro All Asia Network Plc, one of Asia’s leading integrated multimedia groups.
  • Previously, Grant was a Managing Director, Telecommunications, Media and Technology at sovereign wealth fund Temasek Holdings, CFO of Total Access Communications in Thailand and Metro Pacific in the Philippines, and treasurer for the First Pacific Group in Hong Kong after starting his career with Price Waterhouse.
  • Between 2014 aIndependent Non-Executive Director, Malaysia
    nd 2017 Grant served on the board of Italian football club Inter Milan. He currently serves as an advisor to and Non-Executive Director of a number of businesses across Asia.

Michael Malone

  • Michael Malone was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Speedcast in May 2014 and is also currently the Chair of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
  • Michael is the founder and former CEO of ASX-listed internet provider iiNet, a position he held from 1999 to 2013.
  • He served as the President of the Western Australian Internet Association from 1996 to 2002.
  • Michael is also the former Deputy Chairman of Autism West.
  • He was a winner of the Western Australian Information Technology and Telecommunications awards lifetime achievement award in 2005, and in 2006 was awarded the Business News Award for the most outstanding business leader in Western Australia under 40 and the Young Leader of the Year award for the JML Australia Human Capital Leadership Awards.
