A maritime vessel operator recently prepared to embark on a major commercial shipping transit and discovered they would have no connectivity across a 12-day span of their planned voyage. When they contacted Speedcast in hopes of quickly getting service to avoid this issue, our team members across a variety of departments and regions quickly collaborated to find a solution. This included procuring equipment, working with our partners, getting equipment out on time, and dispatching a field engineer within a very short timeframe, and then supporting a very quick installation to get the system online.

Thanks to the swift response by the Speedcast team, the customer had communications online for the 12 days of the voyage that would have otherwise been a long offline period with no connectivity.
