We’ve further expanded our connectivity portfolio with the addition of Global High Throughput (HTS) and Private network Interconnect (PNI) services from Starlink, as the first to market with both solutions, which are being offered by a limited set of authorized Starlink integrators.
Starlink HTS service delivers gigabit speeds, significantly improves throughput, latency and operational efficiency, and supports high data applications. The PNI service allows a remote site to send data over the Starlink network to the datacenter via a dedicated Layer 2 connection, bypassing the public Internet and delivering the highest levels of security and resiliency. Speedcast was the first authorized Starlink integrator to roll out the PNI service, which we’ve launched in the U.S., with further country expansion underway in South America and Europe based on customer requirements.
Speedcast has successfully integrated and deployed Starlink’s Global High Throughput Service (HTS) for offshore energy leader COSL Drilling Europe, enhancing connectivity across its fleet of advanced semi-submersible drilling rigs.
This milestone builds on nearly a decade of partnership, supporting COSL’s commitment to digital innovation, safety, efficiency, and low-carbon operations. The deployment expands Speedcast’s hybrid connectivity portfolio, following previous multipath service upgrades designed to meet growing demands for operational applications, IoT monitoring, crew welfare, and client connectivity during critical exploration and production activities.
Along with these latest additions, our connectivity portfolio expansions also include OneWeb service now available in Nigeria.
